Notes:

Lifehunt Scythe is marginally better stat-wise than Great Scythe with minmaxed stats (27 Strength, 40 Dex), something like 504 vs 499 damage two-handed. However, Great Scythe has better scaling so it will eventually out-damage Lifehunt with more Dexterity, it can be enchanted to out-damage Lifehunt, it weighs less, it has the same moves--oh, and it doesn't inflict bleed buildup on yourself every hit with 50% max HP damage on blood loss. Also Great Scythe is hypothetically obtainable at the beginning of the game. Lifehunt not so much.

One of the annoyances I have with Dark Souls 1 is just how many weapons aren't enchantable. Lifehunt Scythe being one of them.
