In January 2006, Lohan’s version became the subject of interweb feud when eBaum’s World hosted and watermarked the Lindsay Lohan <span class="caps">GIF</span> file without crediting either SpliceVW or <span class="caps">YTMND</span>. Basically, after a shooper creates an anagram of their desired movie’s title, they get on their way to alter said movie’s poster in such a way that it states their new anagrammed title using the original title’s font. They also usually have something related to the new title shooped into the poster to reflect the anagram better.</p> <h2>Something Awful</h2> <p>The meme first saw the light of day on the popular memetic hub, Something Awful, on <a href="http://www.somethingawful.com/d/photoshop-phriday/anagrammed-movies.php">April 10, 2003</a> as another one of the site’s photoshop contests for their weekly Photoshop Phriday.</p> <p>The site did the same thing again on <a href="http://www.somethingawful.com/d/photoshop-phriday/anagrammed-movies-part.php">July 8, 2004</a> and <a href="http://www.somethingawful.com/d/photoshop-phriday/anagrammed-movie-posters.php">July 4, 2008</a> but the meme didn’t spread elsewhere just yet.</p> <h2>Worth1000.com</h2> <p>On November 16, 2008, <a href="http://fx.worth1000.com/contests/22001/movie-anagrams">Worth1000</a>, an image manipulation and contest website, held a photoshop contest with the same concept of anagramming movie posters though they did not get the idea from Something Awful.
