No Speak Americano

X No Speak Americano is a series of Youtube videos that feature edited versions of Team Fortress 2 characters swinging their arms and singing along with the song "We No Speak Americano" by Yolanda Be Cool^[1]. Many of the videos are set to loop, to allow the video to play indefinitely.

Origin

On August 29th, 2011, Youtube user "Tpoyle1996"^[2] uploaded a video of the Team Fortress 2 character Red Heavy, edited to where only his arms and head were showing. As the song played, Heavy would swing his arms on the down beat, and singing the same tune:

The video, since receiving 170,000+ views, is a video response to Youtube user R33MIX's^[3] video "Rainbows", which features the same song.

Spread

The following day, many similar videos with other TF2 characters appeared, featuring various people and characters. The original video has since received several response videos.
