Fernanfloo, real name Luis Fernando Flores Alvarado, is a Spanish gaming and comedy YouTuber.Over the course of his career, he amassed tens of millions of followers on YouTube With a total of over 9 billion views, more than 541 videos and 45 million subscribers,his channel is the 42nd-most-subscribed channel on YouTube, the fourth most-subscribed in Spanish-speaking channels behind El Reino Infantil, JuegaGerman and Badabun . He is currently the most subscribed channel in El Salvador.

History

Luis Fernando Flores Alvarado was born July 7th, 1993, in San Salvador, El Salvador. On May 1st,2011,he joined YouTube as "Fernanfloo"[1] whose name is a combination of his Fernando Flores. His earliest extant video was uploaded on may 6th, 2011,[2] and has gained over 12 million views in 11 years (shown below).



His first videos on the platform were about action skits with special effects. Later he started uploading other types of videos, such as gameplays of video games like Call of Duty, God of War III and Mortal Kombat. On July, 2017, fernanfloo with BBTV launched an app called "The Fernanfloo Game," which received 2.3 million downloads within its first week of release[3].

Moving on to Twitch

Between December 2017 and April 2018, Luis left his channel inactive for 4 months, until April 6th, 2018, where he uploaded a video titled "SE ACABO :'V"( English: IT'S OVER :'V)[4] . explaining a bit why he left his channel for four months and in the description, there was a link leading to his first stream on Twitch. On that livestream he was going to play Fortnite, and before doing that he explained why he left his channel for 4 months, it was because he got bored of making videos and took a lot of time, therefore he moved to Twitch so he can livestream the games he would play on YouTube.

On May 10th, 2018, he created a second channel called Fernan [5] in which it has as of now over 4 million subscribers. His first video on that channel was My first victory on Fortnite, in that channel he would upload highlights of some of his livestreams on Twitch.

However, on September 2018, he uploaded another video on his main channel, being a Fortnite video, being followed by a video of Street Fighter V three months later.

On January 14th, 2019, he uploaded a video of him on his main channel playing Resident Evil 2 Remake [6].

On 2020, he uploaded 4 videos on main channel, first a video of him playing the Dragon Ball GT theme song on piano, being followed by a video of him reacting to a fan animation, then a video of Ninjala, and a christmas special.



Fernanfloo Dresses Up

Fernanfloo Dresses Up refers to a series of two-panel memes based on two photographs of Salvadoran YouTuber Fernanfloo in which he wears pajama pants and a hoodie and a full suit. The format has been used to humorously compare person's attitudes towards various occasions. The meme is also known by its popular caption My Wife's Funeral.
