She let's me run around with my tail on in public, understands when I have to cover my ears when people whistle, and my face pressing up against the glass when I'm watching the foxes at the zoo. Don't get me wrong, I love cats, so this isn't anything against them. But you're vegan. Surely this must cause some conflict within yourself? dappledwings You should really learn how to use trigger warnings before asking me insensitive questions. The predator inside me is something that I have learned to keep under control. As a child it was one of my deepest struggles. I would kill birds and rodents in my backyard only to be met with punishment by my human parents. Enough negative reinforcement eventually forced me into submission. Eating meat only intensifies my urges to hunt.I chose to become a vegan because it helps me to function better in human society. My paganism has also given me a reverence for the sanctity of all life and being a vegan aligns with those beliefs. Asktranscats aquestion #otherkin #social justice #trans species #therian
