Dinosaur amazing sizes

Amazing Sizes When looking at various illustrations of these extinct animals, we may not get an idea of the enormous sizes that some of them have, the largest theropods could be more massive than a bus, as long as a gas truck and taller than a traffic light, while the largest sauropods were the size of some of today's buildings! Although we must remember, that while an anaconda is longer than an elephant, and a giraffe is taller, we all agree that the elephant is the largest land animal, because the best way to compare volumes and therefore sizes would be by weight, this means that the blue whale is still the largest known animal that has ever existed, larger than the biggest sauropod (but they're on water... they're cheating!); and, no matter how many times you are told otherwise, Tyrannosaurus Rex was the largest terrestrial theropod and carnivore to walk the face of the earth (as far as we now know). The Giganotosaurus (like other carcharodontosaurids) had a lighter and more agile build than the T-rex, and although it was a little longer and taller, it was just short of the T-rex in weight (and therefore, in size). It weighed between 7 and 8 tons. Spinosaurus was the longest theropod, reaching 15 meters long, and from the side it looked the largest (partly thanks to its huge sail), but if we see him from the front, we'll realize how narrow it was. Its estimated weight is around 7 tons. Scientists agree that Tyrannosaurus was the most massive terrestrial theropod and carnivore, weighing 8 to 10 tons thanks to its robustness from torso to head. Its head was made to crush and grind bones like a sharp hydraulic press, unlike other carnosaurs whose heads were made to cut and tear meat like a saw or an axe. Shantungosaurus, the most massive hadrosaur and ornithischian, reaching 16 meters long and more than 15 tons! If the T-rex had lived with it, it would have thought twice before attacking it! It is accepted that Argentinosaurus was the largest dinosaur and land creature to walk this planet, estimated to be between 30 to 40 meters long and weighing almost 70 tons. Estimates of other sauropods were close to it, such as Patagotitan, Dreadnoughtus, Paralititan, or Supersaurus. Although Sauroposeidon would have been the tallest with a height of about 18 meters. While not the largest theropod, Therizinosaurus may have been the tallest, reaching a height of 5 meters, like a giraffe! It was also the largest maniraptor, reaching 5 tons. K The bee hummingbird is the smallest dinosaur that ever existed, measuring 5 to 6 cm and weighing about 2 grams, and it is still alive today. Although, if we don't consider birds, the smallest dinosaur would be the Parvicursor, an alvarezsaurid that measured 40 centimeters and weighed about 160 grams.
