Others had written about the waxy coating on the work board and they are correct- it is not easy to blend the colors. Also, because you are coloring "sections" you don't get the details as shown on the packaging. The packaging indicated 8+, but unless the child is extremely dexterous and focused I doubt he/she would finish the entire project. Images in this review
