Today I was getting a surgery and the male nurses made a comment about how big it is and the other male nurse says "yeah I just assumed it was cubic zirconia" Which I kind of suspected people thought that anyway because I'm 26 with a 4ct ring which I feel is fairly uncommon. Anyway. Does anyone else get this snap judgment and assumption on their rings because of the size? And how do you respond? Question directed mostly towards people with 3cts and above You and 51 others Haha

its a little more than just that. I taught myself the code of honor known as chivalry as a child. I read the Tolkein books in kindergarden, around age 6. oh, and I have a huge movie and tv series collection 6?! that's impressive! i read the hobbit at 8, but e rest as a teen. I was considered gifted. I have a genius IQ. its not something I like to talk about, however.

O น r/Advice u/abolotnov 5m How do I rationalize a car purchase? I make $370k a year, no debt, ~$700k in equity (not bragging, it's not much anyway), driving 2015 car with ~140k miles on it, trying to get another car (we need a second one for the family) but struggling to justify a ~$40k car because it feels like I am not at the right financial level to afford it. I kinda feel like it's an ok purchase but at the same time feel like I am just not rich enough for it and will have insane buyer's remorse for the rest of my life after I bough it. I need another car because I am letting my son keep the car we use now and we just need another car for three of us to get places but torn apart between getting a nice one or getting a junky one good enough that won't die on a highway. Is there a way to mentally justify a decent (used) car and not end up buying an old Toyota that will take me places, but I will never truly enjoy? GUN GUY How is a student loan different from any other loan? I have mortgages on several properties, a payment for my wife's new car, and a business loan. I signed for the loans. I took the money. I must pay the money back. That's how it works. The idea of asking anybody for debt forgiveness never has and never would occur to me. Maybe I missed something by not getting a college education.
