As we passed each other, I stepped to the side and held onto my dog nice and tight. I smiled and said good morning and was expecting a similar greeting in return. However, I was met with a snarky "he looks mean." 2 years ago Never shopped there & never wilIl knowing they are a family run operation and choose to knowingly cheat all those other families who purchased N95 masks at a 400% mark up after hording them till the time was right. I hope they will be punished. Response from the owner 11 months ago Dear our attorney recommended that we do not reply to such public claims until our case is settled, but now that it essentially is - (no criminal action) here are the facts: 1) Penal Code 396 only protects "vital and necessary" (to the emergency) items, and the CDC, FDA, US Surgeon General, and even the Cal Dept. of Health, already stated that N95s are not for the public's general use (thus not vital and necessary). There was no science that it would do any good for general public use. So, for to public to insist on wearing N95s was an issue of the "want" vs "need", someone's "moral outrage" vs others who understand economics and are perfectly ok with and one based on supply and demand. Laws that wrongly enforce someone's "wants" are wrong. 2) This information was given to the DA's office ahead of time, yet they ignored this. Even our local newspaper supposed "journalist" didn't seem to have bothered to even read the law for themselves, check this information, and do a deep dive on this subject, and thus failed to report the truth. 3) The DAs office then wrongly ask a local judge to grant them a search warrant and seemingly did not disclose this info (ie CDC, etc) and this judge seems to have wrongly not demanded that the DA first prove that N95s were "vital and necessary" and subject to 396 in the first place, and wrongly granted a search warrant which then led to a violation of our civil rights under 42 USC 1983. 4) During the search warrant, they seized our entire stock of N95s thereby also violating the Commerce clause, by preventing and interfering with our ability to now sell this item out of state. They also made it not available to Californians who they claim needed it. Does that make sense? What you have to also understand is that 396 was made in response to the Northridge earthquake when the "Internet" wasn't even fully up and running yet, so this law is not only antiquated but didn't anticipate how it would run afoul of the Interstate Commerce Clause and retailers like us who advertise heavily on the Internet. If you just listen to mainstream media, you will probably not know the truth. Lastly, apparently you didn't see the reports (unverified) that our Cal gov and the SEIU were purportedly selling theirs for $5 each, so why could we not do the same? Make sense to you? Management

2 reviews a month ago I was looking forward to an afternoon of bar food and NCAA basketball on 3/18/22. l organized a group of 8 friends to meet me there. There was maybe 20 other people in the bar. It was hands down the worst service I have ever had at a bar (l've been going to bars for 40 years). We were there a total of 3 hours and never once did the bartender ask us if we needed anything without me having to physically go get her (she would NEVER make eye contact with me). She stormed around the bar in a frenzy and looked miserable. She was "too busy" to tend to my requests to show the basketball games that we wanted to watch or open the garage door because it was 75 degrees and beautiful outside. My plan was to stay for another few hours but I was so frustrated about the service and embarrassed that I asked my friends to come there that I decided to move the whole party to for the remainder of the night--where we got great service (and 2 for 1 drinks!) I will never go there again.
