13:33 r/AmltheAsshole My husband thinks I'm in the right, but my niece helped me make this post on here to see what other people think. I (52f) have three sons ages ranging from 13 to 20. My oldest son (20m) has a girlfriend (19f) that hands around our house a lot... It's a really small house and doesn't have a lot of space. She's a nice girl but gets on my nerves sometimes because she's always over. I really don't think she's right for my son, either. Our tapwater has a weird aftertaste so I order gallon water bottles and use them to refill a big glass bowl with a tap. It is not cheap to get water and other groceries delivered, so I tell my sons, husband, and the girlfriend to be courteous of the other people who live here and not use up the water, as it runs out fast in our big household. 2 Yesterday, I caught her filling up her big metal water bottle with the jug water, and I calmly told her that other people live here, too, and she shouldn't hog the water all to herself. She was rather short with me and said something along the lines of: "Actually, this water bottle is big enough to hold all the water someone should be drinking in a day. I'm not hogging water, I'm just trying to stay hydrated." 91% I found her tone to be disrespectful and ordered her to leave. She scoffed and went back to my son's room. That's when I really got frustrated. I opened their door and told her she has to leave. My son got really angry with me and told me that my girlfriend didn't do anything wrong and why is it a crime for her to drink water? I explained that I order this water for our family to use, not leeches who hang around all day rent-free. My son's girlfriend got a little teary eyed and left the room and out the front door without saying anything. My son told me that I was a major a------ and should have just minded my business. Entitled phone Woman | /r/Karen

Yesterday my friends and me (all teens) encountered a phone with a red case laying on a stone statue, I myself wanted to yoink the case and leave but my peers insisted on keeping it safe until the owner phones or something etc. So I kept it in my bag and went on with the rest of my day. Lasted on in the night I made a post asking if anyone had lost a phone, unfortunately no one answered. But me and my friend woke up to red phone ringing, my friend took it and immediately went on to responsible mode, a child was on the other line, started crying after my friend said Hello a few times, then hung up. A few minutes later the phone rings again it was a man this time who seemed like the father. We then explained and said we'd meet him to pick it up at a shop. So then we scrambled to get ready then started walking to said shop, we started getting phone calls, same number but not the man? it was a woman so it must've been the woman, she said "Where are you" we tell her we're almost there, she then replied with "Well that's not 'shop name' is it?". Once we got to the shop we were met with an oldish woman and two small children. We say hello then the woman simple said "Were you planning on stealing it then?". Me and my friend gave each other the side eye, like that look we're you just know the persons a bad vibe. We shake our head then my friend explains our story on what we did, rather then just taking off with it. Woman then said "Ok, what do you say?" to her child, the little one says thank you, not even looking at us. Then we parted ways. In conclusion we weren't very happy the rest of the morning.

For clarity sake, the letters LGBTIQA+2 represent:- L for lesbians; G for homosexuals; B for bisexuals; T for transvestites; I for intersex; Q for queers; A for asexuals; + for any other queer people and the 2 is for letters having two meanings and or representations. Our community in Coomera Waters is a wholesome community and not a queer community and nor does it promote queer conduct-especially to children. As a neighbor who is proud to live in Coomera Waters and its wonderful community I respectfully request that you take down the said cloth immediately and or asap. Please be aware that my friends and me (with children) often walk along the Coomera River area that borders your property and hope that 1/we do not have to be exposed to that which we find offensive, unsavory, abhorrent, corrupting, divisive, outrageous and disgusting. Again respectfully, I/we ask that you fly a real flag such as our National flag and show your patriotism as opposed to one who promotes queer conduct. Further, by displaying the said cloth you give the impression that we at Coomera Waters are accepting for such above mentioned behavior. I assure you that we are NOT and nor do we want anyone to give that false impression which, it seems, you are doing. Tonight I went to the gym as I often do, when I entered there were 3 young black men blasting rap music loudly on a portable speaker. When I mentioned that that wasn't cool, they turned the music up and made jokes to each other and laughed at my expense. Recently some new rules were posted WHERE NO ONE CAN SEE THEM! One being that no speakers were allowed and that only personal devices should be used. It's obvious that there are people in this neighborhood who have no respect for others. Do I need to bring a weapon with me so I feel safe? Is there a number that I can call when I feel threatened? This type of behavior has happened before. I'm going on record stating there is a safety issue at the gym. What are you going to do about it? Greg

WARNING: I did go with Kenneth, and he came out and fixed the leak, with the plan to come back to take care of the drywall and mitigate some of the damage in a couple days, once it dried out. He no-showed on the agreed date, and replied to a text that he was dealing with a family tragedy. Certainly understandable, and was willing to work with him on a date to finish-up the work. It's now been 2 weeks, and he hasn't replied to any of my texts, despite them showing as read. I'm hoping my reviews will prompt a response from him, and he'll give me the requested refund for the unfinished work. Otherwise, I'll have no choice but to file with the local magistrate. Beware before picking him. I will update/remove if it's resolved pre- magistrate.
