There's always been the question of what Chris would be like if he was able to keep his autism in check and live a somewhat normal + productive life while still retaining some of his underlying creepy sex pest quirks, narcissism, and infatuation with cartoons/creating things. The answer is that this person already exists - it's Gene Simmons of KISS. Chris and Gene both grew up with an immense sense of narcissism thanks to an overprotective family, and both shared an infatuation with cartoons/comics. Gene was a comic book collector & trader in college and his "KISS room" inside his mansion is literally Chris' bedroom. A shrine to himself, covered wall to wall in gawdy trinkets and action figures with his face on them. Gene's early songs from his teens actually resemble Chris' Sonic and the Hedgehog Boys rambling nonsense. Titles include "My Uncle is a Raft" and "My Mother is the Most Beautiful Person in the World." Like Chris, he has s--- out "The Gene Simmons Vault" - a collection of awful demos that should have never seen the light of day - for an extortionate price the same way Chris sells awful homemade crafts on etsy and eBay for stupid prices. The money is then spent on very frivilous ventures that serve no purpose such as tego sets an Arena Football team that he quickly lost interest in. Look up the Los Angeles KISS. Whereas Chris became infatuated with creating his own "character" with Sonichu, Gene Simmons did this with his "demon" character - although in a much more appropriate way by making it his stage persona. Like Sonichu, it wasn't an original design. Most of his character is a loose interpretation of The Black Bolt, a Marvel character, and a hodgepodge of other random cartoons he liked. Gene became his own Sonichu, but just did it in a much more nuanced fashion that could make him a lot of money. The root idea of becoming a cartoon character and making it your identit... hmm... sounds familiar Imao. Genes lyrics as KISS began receiving record contracts and growing in popularity as a band, never escaped the juvenile sex pest s--- that ChrisChan is known for. The band's first ever radio single, Nothin' to Lose, was about a--- sex. Christine Sixteen is Gene's lyrical equivalent of the attraction sign. By the 80's, his lyrics had devolved into "I wanna put my log in your fireplace." This was always juxtaposed by KISS being marketed to small children and selling everything from action figures to lunch boxes with KISS branding, no different than Chris attempting to make Sonichu a children's cartoon despite many pages including graphic sex scenes or Sonichu bragging about his d--- size. The similarities in ego resulted in ChrisChan-like vanity projects that Gene could actually pursue, due to being a millionaire rockstar and nobody telling him no. Chris was confined to writing cartoons exaggerating mundane aspects about his life and posting them on Geocities. Simmons by comparison went out and hired an entire production company to make this a reality; Gene Simmons Family Jewels ran for seven seasons on A&E, from 2006 to 2012.
