In 2017 Rainer posted a picture of himself with a missing tooth with the caption "Thanks for that, iBlali"

He claimed that someone assaulted him which led to him losing his tooth. He blamed German Youtuber iBlali who had lately talked about him, thus making him known to a larger audience. Given Rainer's relationship with honesty many of the haiders were wondering if Rainer got assaulted at all.

Later Rainer felt the need to clarify that the tooth had already been loose and therefore the assailant wasn't even that strong and that he in turn almost broke their leg. It sounded like he said "her leg" which led to speculations within the haider-scene, with many haiders wondering if Rainer's tooth was knocked out by a woman.

Surprisingly, in 2020 a video of the altercation suddenly surfaced. Rainer got into an argument with a group of visitors who were standing on the street not far from his house. Only one of the visitors (a man) was standing close to him. Rainer started beating on the man with one of his trademark sticks to which he responded by punching Rainer in the face, immediately knocking out his tooth.

The video really put Rainer's story into perspective. Not only did he follow the people he had the altercation with, he also was the one attacking first - with a weapon no less - while the other guy simply retaliated using his fist. Also, there is no indication of Rainer "almost breaking the other man's leg". He seemed to be walking just fine after Rainer hit him.
