![Abraham_Lincolnbot 2.1k points 1 day ago Mine isn't expired but I don't care, they can come after me if they want. Honeymoon at a Sandals resort and it went bad. Not like some people's where it involved r--- but personal belongings were destroyed, kicked out of the room we got moved to after ours was no longer safe to stay in, that sort of stuff. The NDA says we are not allowed to acknowledge we were ever even on the island. Jokes on them, I had no interest in posting about it until they presented us with the NDA that said we couldn't. Thanks for the idea! insecure_f 513 points 23 hours ago I've heard about this from multiple people who have stayed at Sandals. They've signed NDAS and still continue to go to Sandals resorts because everything was comped. Disgusting.](https://i.kym-cdn.com/photos/images/masonry/001/635/735/55e.png)

![zilfondel 3.3k points 1 day ago Sure. I was on the team that designed SpaceX's Starlink factory in Redmond Washington that never got built. From start of project to finish it only took 4 weeks, a record! SpaceX also wanted a 50 foot deep hole in the middle of the building, but we weren't told why. Building was around 80,000 sqft.l Also, Elon likes to have a back door on all of his factories for which only he has a key so that he can secretly enter the building and watch the goings on from a little alcove above the floor. funknjam 900 points 1 day ago Also, Elon likes to have a back door on all of his factories for which only he has a key so that he can secretly enter the building and watch the goings on from a little alcove above the floor. ![Baron_Greyfallow 19.5k points 1 day ago . edited 16 hours ago If you have a comcast voice remote and you say, "Make Robert Happy." It will turn the TV to Doctor Who. There used to be a lot of hidden voice commands in the system. We had to take a lot of them out over time, but that one is still in there. Edit: A couple people have asked me who Robert is. He is one of the software engineers working on the voice remote system. As a proof of concept early on he put that in, and just never removed it. Edit 2: Some people are asking for another one. If you say "Big Boss" it'll make your TV go to an empty page left over for the Minions movie and make your tv play a minion noise. It seems they removed a lot of them, but that one is still there too.](https://i.kym-cdn.com/photos/images/masonry/001/635/729/b64.png)

![momo871 10.5k points 1 day ago That the charter school I taught for was in reality a Scientologist school. We had to do training in Scientology after school for two hours a day. We had to sign a NDA to get our $1000 "bonus" for doing the non-elective training. Those parents had no idea the school was Scientology. We did not teach them how to be Scientologists, but we certainly used the terminology and ol L. Ron's ideas. This was about 25 years ago before we knew much about Scientology. I didn't buy in and I wasn't invited back the following year. The school dissolved about 4 years later.](https://i.kym-cdn.com/photos/images/masonry/001/635/728/f9c.png)

![PrOffesser 5 points 9 months ago My little brothers best childhood friend was in a roll over accident where the roll bar on the jeep crushed his internal organs. He was concious and responsive but there was nothing they could do. His parents arrived at the hospital not long before he died. As he began to slip away he kept asking who was standing at the end of the bed and that they were smiling at him. His mother took solice that angels had come to take him away. Nearly 20 years since that happened and that story tears me up. I'm not religious but it was and is a comforting thought that he was at peace the moments before he died and it brought comfort to his family as well in a terrible tragedy.](https://i.kym-cdn.com/photos/images/masonry/001/630/378/6f3.png)

![Royalchariot 5 points 9 months ago I was driving home and hit by a drunk driver head on. The impact instantly knocked me out cold and tore muscle from bone in my neck, ribs, and shoulder. All I remember was seeing a car coming towards me with no lights Suddenly I was floating above myself. I looked down and saw a group of fire fighters pulling me out of my wrecked car on a body board. One person was inside my car stabilizing my head and neck. I saw the entire front and hood of my car smashed into the actual car seating area. I was floating above myself looking down, maybe 20 feet or so above. I was confused but also extremely calm and peaceful. Next thing I knew I woke up in the ER. I had no severe or long lasting injuries and was discharged that night. Before this event I did not believe in ghosts, spirits, what have you. But now I think there must be some type of other being within each person. The event altered the way I perceive the world and made me a much more grateful and giving person. I quit my job in security to work with animals.](https://i.kym-cdn.com/photos/images/masonry/001/630/344/4f9.png)

When I considered staying I saw a vision of my family and friends grieving at my funeral. All very upset and kind of p----- I had OD'd at a young age. I realized I had to go back so I could love them more. I had to fight to get back into my body, it's hard to explain. After I came to someone found me and took me to the hospital. ![keller_ma 12 points 9 months ago My dad works as a surgical nurse and my favorite related story of his is that in the recovery room an old woman was in her last few minutes of life. My dad and his coworker went into her room to find her peacefully dying but clearly saying something like, "Oh hello Aunt Ethel, so good to see you. And there's Bill and Henry.... Oh look there's Agatha..." and then she passed. My dad believes she was being greeted by her deceased family members into the afterlife. Whether or not his interpretation is true, I'm choosing to believe it.](https://i.kym-cdn.com/photos/images/masonry/001/630/292/a21.png)

![VAGO 684 points 9 months ago 2 I was pretty dead after a car accident ( back when you could ride in the back of pickup trucks we were T-boned in an intersection) and I went into the tunnel of light. Chose to come back because I was given a choice. I missed my family, friends and my cats so I came back. I remember the tunnel being a white gold color, very warm friendly and inviting. When I woke up in the street I was bloody, cold and in shock but I knew what had happened a moment before. Chalk it up to extreme blood loss or dopamine release or what have you, but I know what I saw. What I got from it was that our perception of life is much like a radio that is broadcasting one frequency you can hear but actually broadcasting all the frequencies all the time but we choose to only tune in to one. There is so much more to life ( and death) than what we are told to believe. Be good to one another and yourself. It matters in the end. PrincessIce 109 points 9 months ago It matters in the end.' That gave me goosebumps.](https://i.kym-cdn.com/photos/images/masonry/001/630/261/dbe.png)

![houseofhamez 2.8k points 9 months ago I fractured my skull when I was a kid. While I was out, I was visited by an entity that told me that I wouldn't have to go to heaven or hell if/when I died. I was told that my life energy would be released in the form of light and that light would shoot off across the universe until it encountered another planet with intelligent life. I could live a life there and continue the journey when I died there I should note that I'm a preacher's kid.
