The other side (bedroom side) could be like any other doorway, or it could be a built-in shallow bookcase. There is no hollow wall to utilise so the "secret door" needs concealed hinges or parliament hinges or whatever is unique to secret entrances etc. Need someone who is experienced in making/fitting secret doors or someone willing to work out it to use as part of their gallery but not to charge for the time taken for them to learn or make mistakes....we have already had to spend many hundreds on what is there now as the carpenter didn't know how to do it without revealing the hinge b View less ^
