The Pet Group ° 1h о ✓ I have four children, ages 5, 11, and 12. My youngest is battling leukemia. Our family is hoping and praying to be gifted a German Shepherd puppy for Christmas. My two eldest kids grew up with the family dog Buster that was a German Shepherd, and they are asking for one for Christmas. I know it is a lot to ask, we do have the funds to care for an animal (including emergency care credit for ICE cases) but don't have the funds to buy an expensive dog. Anonymous: My church gave me only $200 for Christmas, knowing I'm a single mother with 4 kids. Last year, they gave me $1,000, but since I stopped the pastor from coming over late nights, he cut my funds. I have a boyfriend now. Before I was single and desperate for money. He even told me that he would help us out. For the past 5 years, the church gave us $1,000. They're aware of my situation, which means $50 per child. Would I be wrong to tell his wife? I can provide lunches and education materials. We're on a waiting list at Montessori schools so I don't know if this will be long-term or not. If she likes it at your place and she's learning a lot, this could be long-term. She is potty trained, listens well, has manners, super friendly with others, and loves animals. 34m . Hello, unfortunately I'm still ISO:... Hello, I don't know if anyone remembers me, but I made a post a few weeks back about asking for Assistance/Help/Donations for my children's Chrismas..? We had just had a unexpected move from Hobbs to here that kinda put us in a bad place at a very bad time. I got so many responses from alot of caring, giving people!! I was beyond relieved and stoked!... But unfortunately, due to whatever circumstances ( I will never judge) Absolutely no one was able to come through.:'( Now it being the day BEFORE Christmas, I'm in an EXTREME PANIC!!! I'm pinched for not only time, but also expenses. Booo. I guess what I'm trying to ask is, is there any possible way anyone can help me in the last minute, before Christmas, to somehow help memake this work? I would be beyond forever Greatful! Seriously? With the thousands upon thousands of dollars being raised & food being collected, THIS is what the Fredericton Foodbank gave us for Christmas dinner......... I am stunned! Not even a bottle of juice for my children? PLEASE don't get me wrong, I'm FOREVER GRATEFUL to have the resource of the food bank! But I want to know where all that money & food went to! A turkey, a 5lb bag of potatoes, 2 boxes of stuffing, a bag of carrots, a bag of apples, & a bag of oranges, 1 can of string beans, 1 can of cranberry sauce & 1 loaf of bread! 1 box of chocolates, & a dozen sugar cookies. Why didn't we even get juice or butter? WHITE BLANC
