Someone threatens to force subreddit bans
![This post is to let you know that r/coontown will be banned- and you won't be able to stop it sett conTown submitted an hour ago by COONTOWN_BANNED 0 How did /r/fatpeoplehate and other subs get banned recently? They harassed people outside of their sub. So. I've purchased a block of reputable reddit accounts (that s--- is so cheap lol, some with previous posts and comments here and r/n------!) written a script to spam and harass the f--- out of a list of about 500 subs - small and large - from IPs all across the world. These accounts will make it apparent that the source of this harassment are people associated with this sub. Not sure how long t will take, but I'lI start running the script in the next few days This ought to have admin's attention relatively quickly. How you gonna stop me? Deleting this post or banning this account with your little admin powers won't do s---. Later f------. 5 comments share save hide give gold report un-nsfw flair (approve [removed by GreatApeNiggy (remove not spam)](https://i.kym-cdn.com/photos/images/masonry/000/980/603/f79.png)

Reddit Social meet up
NeoFAG
![/rneofag was a ridiculous success story, in life and death. (self.KotakulnAction submitted 22 minutes ago by KingRoyMustang From voat: We all knew it was coming. The inevitable subreddit deletion. NeoFAG didn't fly too close to the sun, it flew straight f------ into it with no f---- given. I would often see other gaming related subreddits comment on neofag when neogaf came up, usually that it was a great expose on one of the most precipitous declines of any community on the internet, but also that it was f------ brutal. That is the reason the deletion was talked about, usually in a sooner rather than later manner. NeoFAG pulled major focus for it's brutality. The chans and various anti SJW gaming subreddits will often lose focus, suffering internal drama and propping up random internet celebrities, but neofag came with a scary dedication to exposing the major and minor causes of the downfall of a once decent site NeoGAF always had mentally unstable mods and a flip flopping socially retarded owner, but it was far looser and laid back years ago. Other sites popped up to mock GAF along the years, but their origins were in specific drama, as opposed to /r/neofags purpose to bring new nonsense to light every single day. This is why it gained so much traction and invoked the ire of many of GAFs protected elite. For example, believe it or not, GAFs black community used to be quite funny and irreverent, roasting their own if anyone acted like an idiot. But then Besada, Mumei and Bish held a competition to see who could suck the most black d---, resultingg in huge ego's and insane black posters who once upon a time would have been chewed out for being bitches, but are now coddled and aware that no matter how many infractions they make, no perm will come The Jado leak was major. It was obvious the mods would look after their friends, but there was no real proof. Jado gave us it, straight from the mouth of one of the most awful, power hungry, delusional fantasists i've ever seen moderate a forum. Straight white males need to hear these voices', well guess what d------, surely the fact that you keep having to ban these idiots for non stop s--- posting is enough evidence that your little 'protected voices' experiment attracted morons who knew that could get away with acting like morons? What a revelation. The deletion was s---, not going to lie. I'm sure the main players are happy it's gone, but the damage is already done. NeoFAG was up for FAR longer than i expected, considering it's most famous feature was the rolling 'freak banner. But lets talk about the nature of it's death. NeoFAG could have been unceremoniously deleted in a wide sweep of subreddit bans, becoming lost in the mix. Maybe KotakulnAction would have noted, but nothing outside of that. But no, NeoFAG was one of the first FIVE to go. That is f------ HUGE. Countless websites and subreddits looking through that tiny list, understanding what the others were (fatpeoplehate is pretty self explanatory) but wondering what the f--- NeoFAG was. It was the question popping up all over the internet. Who and what is neoFAG? A subreddit dedicated to mocking a gaming forum Why? No doubt people went digging out of confusion. If neoFAG was banned in the second, third wave, it probably wouldn't have made it to news sites (with synopsis given) and It wouldn't have prompted curiosity from those fortunate to have never been exposed to the ever deepening void of s--- that is GAF. If it had been banned in a first wave of say, 100 subreddits, there would have been very little exposure Whether or not there was some collusion between the corrupt s---- at the top of reddit and the corrupt s---- at GAF is nothing but speculation. But if it was a showing of power, to make an example out of those who dare to forgo any niceties or e-celeb distractions in order to s--- on the SJW cancer that spreads throughout moderation and ownership on the internet, someone f----- up. It would have been great for /r/neofag to continue, steadily growing in userbase while being easy to find for any members with a growing discontent for the current atmosphere on GAF, but as i said before, we all knew it was coming. We just didn't expect to get a f------ state funeral. Discussion about how free speech should be handled
![↑ [Discussion] Should the limits of speech on the internet be decided by a handful of CEOs? (self.Kotakul Action) submitted 6 minutes ago by Namrok More and more lately, I see this same argument. "Reddit/Twitter/Facebook is a privately owned company. You are using it for free. They can permit or disallow whatever they want." It's hard to argue against such a myopic view. It's technically true But let me ask you this. In the 21st century, do we want the limits of speech decided by a handful of CEOs? Do we want to surrender truly free speech to platform holders only? We haven't just seen FatPeopleHate and other distasteful subreddits vanish. Weve seen a lot of legitimate research, critique and news vanish down the memory hole too. Individual subreddits have their unequally applied sort of true from a certain point of view reasons for vanishing articles their community clearly wants to discuss. But when they appear on other subreddits, they still vanish off rlall once the admins in San Francisco wake up in the morning. And using their media connections, I've seen almost every tech page I read cover this negatively I have never in my life seen the news defend a CEO which takes over a company, horribly misunderstands it's customers and culture, and runs it into the ground. Ever. It's entirely unprecedented. But they are defending Ellen Pao on blatantly ideological grounds, and it disgust me I can't believe my generation, the one that grew up with unfettered free speech on the wild west of the internet, grew up and went "We've outgrown offensive speech, now nobody else should get to enjoy it either." 4 comments share all 4 comments sorted by: best ▼ H sscat [score hidden] 3 minutes ago F--- no! The trend is for social interaction to concentrate on a few platforms, which means that the p who control those platforms are going to control social interaction. This is nothing new, really. Every time a platform becomes toxic, people just move onto a new one.
