This is, to quote the artist, "a tribute to Nemo Ramjet's novel All Tomorrows. A sort of 'alternate history', where more post-human species created by the Qu survived to achieve sentience, and my speculation on what they could've been like."

If you've read the book or watched all of Alt Shift X's video, then you will likely be familiar with the species these fan-made post-humans are descended from. Info describing the species is in the link to the author's art, but I'll give an abridged version for those who don't feel like checking it out.

Clickers are descended from Blind Folk (the eyeless cave dwellers). They moved to the surface, became nocturnal, and evolved long antenna-like fingers, ears on their faces, and echolocation, giving them basically radar dishes for heads. Their cities are super tightly clustered, but have no lighting.

Grazers are descended from Titans (the elephant-people). They survived the ice age on an island and became small (cow-sized); when they moved back to the mainland, they outcompeted the Titans by breeding faster and needing less food, and their lip-trunks became chin tentacles. They have totalitarian societies where ruling males have all the women (because herd animal ancestry)

Rot Eaters are descended from Bone Crushers (the giant gross scavengers). They learned to ferment meat and became smaller as they no longer needed to be big to find food. They still have a really good sense of smell and their culture does not view bodily functions as taboo because of their ancestry.

Puppeteers are descended from Temptors (the stalagmite-like ones). They survived the asteroid and the mindless males split into multiple castes that serve a single queen (like ants and bees). They ran into overpopulation with too many males, and the females fought a war in which the winners replaced the males with robots/cyborgs.
