Even Pixar Has It's Failure

I was going to make this after seeing Cars 3 but realized I had to subject myself to trash (Cars 2). I avoided watching Cars 2 due to it's horrible reception it gained and no real appeal it gave to me. To my luck, I watched it on Disney XD in June of 2017. Lets me just say that this movie left an awful taste in my mouth so to lighten the mood I created this meme. Pixar likes to forget about their one true failure, Cars 2, but Disney is like "Hey, can we make our own crappy crossover from this series since we own you? Cool, well get started!"

Some Mater talk

In light of a lot of my recent Mater-centric posts, I wholeheartedly agree with the sentiment that Mater should become the most changed character after McQueen's crash in Cars 3. Not that I want him to change I mean, his goofball, cheerful attitude was what first made him my favorite character - but its because, in my mind anyway, happy characters have arguably the most potential for diverse character growth. I tend to fall in love with happy characters more than others - heck, my favorite characters list includes Mater, Joy, Pinkie Pie, Lego Robin, and Lucy Wilde from Despicable Me - mostly because l enjoy their positive, optimistic dispositions (and in this day and age, everyone needs way more positivity). But then I realize that there's another reason why I love happy characters: it's when, during their stories they're forced not to be happy It's one thing to be happy when everything is going smoothly, but how does a happy character react when things don't go their way? What do they do when they're faced with something out of their control? That's where the character growth comes in. As we follow a happy person in their story, their reactions to conflicts and how to resolve them are what really make their character. They could shut down in the face of negativity, continue on their merry way (though that tends to be the most destructive option), or - my favorite they could use search for solutions they never even considered before, and, in turn, gain a more mature, developed understanding of the world. They don't have to switch into a pessimist they just understand that not everything is happy, that that's normal, and that it's okay to feel negative emotions once in a while This is what I hope happens to Mater in Cars 3. After watching his best friend almost die, there's no way he can go back to his regular state of mind - none of them can. He can become devastated - he can be thrown into grief but he can also utilize that grief and give McQueen the most support he could ever get. I mean, Cars 2 already proved that Mater does have a diverse emotional range - in just the Big Bentley scene alone, he flips through panic, guilt, self-doubt, full-blown anger, hatred inspiration, and determination; most of these feelings, we never even got a glimpse of back in the first Cars. Sure, that film could've been much more polished, but it's still there, and I sincerely hope we get to see more of that in the third film

It has revealed the platforms that the game should be available on. The platforms that Cars 3 will be out on are the PS3, Xbox 360, Wii U, PS4, Xbox One and even the Nintendo Switch. Sadly, it looks like no PC version is being planned at this moment. The game will be published by Warner Bros. and is currently in development by Avalanche Software. You may remember Avalanche Software to be the developer for the Disney Infinity series There's still no release date for the game, but it's scheduled for release some time in 2017. The movie itself will be released in North American cinemas on June 16th, 2017. It's possible the video game will be out roughly around the same time. It's obviously expected this will be a racing game of some kind.

Cars 3 game coming from Warner Bros. and resurrected Avalanche Software O Posted on January 24, 2017 by Brian(@NE_ Brian) in General Nintendo, News Warner Bros. announced today that a console game based on Cars 3 is in development. Platforms were not announced, but you can bet that it will appear on Nintendo platforms. What's particularly interesting here is that the title is being made by Avalanche Software. For those who are unaware, it's the same team behind the Disney Infinity games. After the plug was pulled on Disney Infinity, we heard that Avalanche had closed.
