Have you heard the details about a Disney show being reduced episodes/cancelled early at Atomic Cartoons? Earlier this year we got greenlit for an order of 40 episodes. Production is a few episodes in on this order and as of 2 weeks ago, we have had news come from the higher ups that they are reducing the episode count to 20. They cite 'children's attention are being drawn towards short form media such as TikTok' as competition and that they aren't attracted to the 'traditional show style! This is seems to be based off of only the first few episodes being dropped on Disney+ and TV. So far they have let go most of the story boarders and are slowly going up the pipeline of artists and shortening their contracts or letting them go immediately. Most people on this show originally had year or longer contracts.
