A good review on premier

Donald Duck learned so much in one episode. Ducktales proved he's smart, capable, brave, and quick on his feet when he has to be. He's so much more than the angry sailor hardly anyone can understand. He realized that he can't always be around to protect his nephews. He also knows these boys are going to get in trouble whether he's around or not, and how he's been raising them hasn't been the best for them. He admits Scrooge can teach them to get out of trouble, just as he'll teach them to get out of trouble, and the appreciative smile on Scrooge's face sold it Going off on S.S.Della because this is her first animated appearance, she wasn't even seen in the nephew's debut short, because her disappearance is most likely caused the rift between Scrooge and Donald. I'll like to see how they come to grips with their loss, raising the boys, and her possible return later in the show. Family is a major theme of the show, and I'm loving all that they've done with the characters, especially Donald. He deserves this.

Doing a reboot the right way

I remember so vividly watching the old Disney Aftermoon shows as a child. Mind you, I was born in '95, so these were all re-runs, but these cartoons were some of my favorites from a very young age; but out of all the Disney Afternoon shows, two of them stuck out to me the most: Goof Troop and Ducktales Now here we are in 2017, and the latter of the two of those shows has been rebooted And I loved every second of it. This show has so much heart and effort put into it, and it shows. The art is phenomenal, the voice acting in point, the new characterizations are perfect and the fact that there is going be overarching story this time around has already made this into a show I will be going out of my way to watch. Cartoon Network, take note. THIS is how you do a reboot

DUCKTALES 2017 o Makes Donald Duck a major lead instead of minor supporting character o Gives Donald Duck a character arc along with Scrooge McDuck. o Brings in a season arc/possible series arc at the end of the second episode. o Definitely hints at a crossover including Darkwing Duck, TaleSpin, and GOOF TROOP in the first episode. o Webby is an actual character instead of token cute girl character. o Beakly buff af, and encourages Scrooge to get in contact with his estranged family. o Scrooge himself has some issues that needs to be addressed, and BONDING WITH HIS ESTRANGED NEPHEW IS A WIN. o Dewey calling Scrooge out for his treatment of him and his bros. o DOESN'T FORGET DONALD S A TWIN, AND INITIATES THE SECOND COMING OF DELLA DUCK. o Dewey, at least, knows what his mom looks like, but it's obvious doesn't know what happened to her o DUCK FAMILY ANGST GEAR ME UP
