It's hard to say who has it worse. The twisted wretch that crawled out of the Amigara Fault is still mostly human in form, but his mind is almost certainly gone. Ted's body no longer resembles a human, but his mind remains the same as it always has been. Personally, I feel Ted has it worse, as he can comprehend what he has become.
