My thoughts on mania having Denuvo

There was alvays somenig about sega where you can seeven f every gaime snt perfect you atleast know they tried. Sonic Maina was shown, then Bayonetta and Vanquish were ported to PC. Things were looking great. Sega was almost that one game publisher who actully seemed to care about their fans, and they screwed themselves their reputation over in one fell swoop. Only thing they can do now to save alittle face is get rid of denuvo, but the damage is done people won't forget this.

Ibought this game expecting 3D graphics and the ability to create our own characters with cool stuff like grappling hooks and this is what we get?? As a whole community, we have been lied to - the entire game is in 2D and only lets you play as Sonic, Knuckles and Tails. There is no such thing as character customization in the game. I'm not sure if they are gonna include this in a future update of some kind but as of now we stuck with 2D graphics and its quite honestly garbage. Not only that but they also decided to change the plot 2 seconds after launching, there is no voice lines from the cast, infact they took out almost all the cast in general. The only positive I can think of that they changed is now Dr. Eggman is in his Dr. Robotnik costume, perhaps a nod to how backwards they've taken the game One thing they didn't take out however is the tag team gameplay but only to a certain standard. Sonic and Tails have the ability to team up but you cant mix and match the other characters like Tails& Knuckles? This is so disappointing Oh, did I mention you can't even boost in this game? Sonic Mania is another example of false marketing in videogames, the newly revealed character called Infinite looked extremely promising and cool and its honestly a shame they never went through with it. As a result, I refuse to support this marketing strategy so I will be leaving a negative review on this barebones game and getting a refund.
