Ganon's fight in OoT was originally going to be like Megaleg in Mario Galaxy
![Supper Mario Broth @MarioBrothBlog In a 2008 interview, Yoshiaki Koizumi revealed that the concept for the Megaleg boss battle in Super Mario Galaxy was originally envisioned for the final boss battle against Ganon in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. "We originally had this idea of climbing onto something really big and moving around on top of it for Link's final boss fight in Ocarina of Time, but we realized that it wouldn't work because you couldn't see Ganon if you were on top of him. So, we had to scrap the idea at that time, but we were really excited when the opportunity finally came around to reuse it in Galaxy. When we first started work on Galaxy we made a prototype version of the game with a very small team, sort of like a "proof of concept" for development, and Megaleg was actually the first boss that we designed for it. We had a very good feeling about it as soon as we got it into the game. It was the realization of an idea that I'd been wanting to work with for a long time: to climb over something big and finally destroy the core. And the whole way through you're able to use the differing effects of gravity to get there. I was very happy with how it came out." In at least one timeline, Luma looks like this
![Supper Mario Broth @MarioBrothBlog Super Mario Galaxy contains an unused early model for a Luma, appearing similar to a red Power Star. Below is the model inserted into various official artwork to show what the series would have looked like if it had kept that design. se tol Arruper_Mario_Galeyhuong_Model#Chico](https://i.kym-cdn.com/photos/images/masonry/002/575/816/95a.png)

Yoshi, Devourer of Galaxies
![Supper Mario Broth @MarioBrothBlog In Super Mario Galaxy 2, Yoshi's tongue can become astronomical in length, dwarfing Starship Mario in magnitude, as a result of a glitch. Details in image. O LAC A commonly known glitch in Super Mario Galaxy 2 gives Yoshi an extremely long tongue. On Starship Mario, if Yoshi licks the Yellow Toad near the warp pad to the Starshroom, then Yoshi's tongue will be permanently attached to the Yellow Toad no matter how far away he is, elongating to unintended levels. Starship Mario However, this is not the limit of Yoshi's tongue length. Going into the engine room with this glitch active will show Yoshi's tongue going off-screen. While in-universe, the engine room is inside Starship Mario, the game actually places it far away from the main Starship Mario map, and Yoshi's tongue is still attached to Yellow Toad. Yoshi's tongue (barely visible line) Here is a "tongue's-eye view of the distance between the engine room and the main Starship Mario map. Yoshi in the engine room The full extent of Yoshi's tongue length can only be shown by using developer tools to zoom the camera out much farther than would be possible. The thin pink line connecting the locations is the tongue, which, when compared to the size of Starship Mario, is revealed to be immensely long. ce: Supper Mario Broth, screenshots taken in a Vemulator game.
