Found out about this cover while looking up Shockwave. I knew what had to be done. Not sure if I should have put this in a sub-meme. See, I excluded the "except Kirby" because comics don't spoil things in the same way video game trailers and previews do: "Are all dead" is actually not really true. Much like the Smash Bros characters aren't really all dead and saying Kirby survived would go against the marketing tactic involved.

Villain Assist Trophies Be Like...

In all seriousness, Andross, Majora's Mask, Mother Brain and any Kirby final boss, all of which are currently assist trophies, would make fantastic additions as fightable bosses, and all of them have different forms or similar counterparts than their assist incarnations that could feasibly be used (to say nothing of the fact that Rathalos already sets a precedent for the exact same character appearing in both roles). And as much as I love Giygas, I'm just not sure implementing him in a physically fightable form would even be possible without losing the unique intangible terror that made him (in)famous.

They all think Samus is being way too harsh on him when she calls him evil and flips out on him and refuses to participate in activities he's involved with. This reaction, of course, is exactly what Ridley wants. One night Samus finally breaks down and reveals to everyone that Ridley murdered her parents and the rest of her colony, which is why she holds such a grudge. Revealing this trauma is the hardest thing Samus has ever done, it drains her emotionally and leaves her a sobbing wreck, she has never talked about it with anyone. After a period of awkward silence, Captain Falcon speaks first. "I don't know, Samus... you say you were 3 at the time? Are you sure you're remembering that correctly?" Lucina chimes in: "Yeah, that doesn't sound like the Ridley I know." Wario: "I don't believe her. Ridley's a cool guy, wah. Later that night, Samus watches from the corner, silently crying, while Ridley entertains everyone with his anecdotes and excellent impressions of famous celebrities (His Donald Trump is especially hilarious). Amidst all the laughter and banter, Ridley flashes Samus a knowing grin.
