My first Rant So: as SuperBowl Sunday goes on here's something that happened today (yesterday) → A older man and his wife walked up to me at work (I was working window and was about to take their order) he was wearing everything "Cheifs". I jokingly and sarcastically said "I see we are ready for the eagles to win" he whipped out a pocket knife and aggressively goes "gimme your tongue girl" in a non-joking manner.. completely serious. The wife didn't put him in his place, say anything or apologise. I turned the conversation around and they left happy (peak customer service skills right there) I say all this to mean: get off your high horse and stop defending multi-millionaires who don't give a flyin about you. Or... better yet clue in and realise that it was obviously a joke. Also Go Eagles twas a glorious night to know that man got his karma and his night ruined. I don't even like football... but I appreciate it now lol Cause seriously. I should've called the police. I now carry pepperspray Like 26 Comment Send Share

ON THIS DAY 47 YEARS AGO - During a July 20, 1975 concert, between songs Elvis was joking around and giving out scarves when he noticed a little girl standing on the far left of the stage. He walked over and knelt down on one knee in front of her. Realizing she was blind, Elvis held her hands and spoke to her for a few minutes. The audience could not hear as he kept the microphone away from his mouth. He then. kissed his scarf and touched both her eyes with it. Tesla Cybertruck. Follow 4d-> A Starbucks employee was talking about my Cybertruck to a customer and she thought I couldn't hear her. I called corporate and she will be fired by the end of the day. about my I literally heard the employee talking Cybertruck to a customer saying it's ugly among other things. I had my window down and could very clearly hear the entire conversation the employee was having with the customer in front of me. Why do you care this much about my vehicle to express your hate to a customer? Then she literally asked me why I would buy a Cybertruck. I said it's my 5th Tesla, I have solar, I don't have to buy gas. "So you are rich." I said how much do you think the Cybertruck cost? It's not even the most expensive Tesla. She had no clue. Just an uneducated hater talking Such a weird experience to have in a professional scenario. I wouldn't mind this conversation with a random Tesla hater but an employee of Starbucks? Unacceptable. Not very professional at all. I assume this person is very miserable to be so judgmental of something that doesn't affect her life. I feel sorry for her. It's also kinda wild she is asking me if I'm rich as she serves $7 coffee to people all day.

He wanted to think about it

I would like to share a quick story. Hopefully it'll put some things in perspective for all the friends that are in despair. Two evenings ago my wife walked in from picking up Owen, our 11 year old, from school. A few minutes past and I asked where is Owen? She said we were listening to something in the car and they mentioned that America has a 36 trillion dollar debt and it's really messing with him and he just wanted to stay in the car and think about it. Later that evening I decided to have a discussion about that with him. I go into this whole spiel about how America got to this unbelievably high number of debt and he stopped me halfway through and he said did you say 36 trillion dollars in debt I thought it was 3 trillion. He was obviously taken back by the truth of the matter.

They booed him

My uncle was a Vietnam vet who lost a leg. We went out for breakfast one am and all handicap spots were full but no handicap license or cards in the window. My uncle was wearing those cargo shorts. We parked on the road by the door. He takes his artifical limb off and hopped into the front door, the place was packed. It got quiet when he hopped in. My uncle, in a booming voice asks the crowd WHO is parked in the handicap spots? At first no one moved. Then my uncles asked the lady at the counter to call the police. Suddenly this Twenty five year old guy sheepishly stands up and said it was him, said he was stiff from playing basketball, lol. The restaurant booed him, my Uncle talked nicely to the kid and explained why the spots are marked. I bet the poor kid learned a valuable lesson. Reply 547

AMA⚫ 1 hr (Experience) I just finished shopping and was walking to my truck when I noticed two women in their vehicle STARING at me. I thought that maybe it was my buddies wife and sister so I started loading groceries up in my truck. I go to return my cart and they are still staring so I decide it has to be buddies wife and sister. I pull up in front of their car and roll down my window, at which point one woman gets out who as it turns out is not my buddies wife or sister. I said hey and she says, "Sorry for recording you, I just don't normally see guys that attractive drive vehicles like yours." The shock on my face. I had no clue they were recording me and she readily admitted it. Not to mention, she got out of the vehicle while holding a baby in her arms. I can't help but imagine what would happen if the genders. were reversed.
