I found an amazing stylist online with great reviews, so I booked an appointment with her. I asked for blonde hair. First red flag: there were no mirrors in her studio. I thought it was odd but brushed it off. Second red flag: I noticed a strange color in my reflection on the window. And then, the third red flag: she dyed my hair super red! She apologized, said it was a mistake, and promised me a refund. I was upset but decided to accept her apology. However, fixing my hair cost me thousands to remove the red dye. I was furious but tried to move on. Then, two months later, thanks to mutual friends, I found out the truth: the stylist had done it on purpose as revenge. Turns out, she's dating my ex, and they thought it was hilarious to mess with me like this. I was livid. I confronted my ex and called him out for being an immature jerk (not surprising since he cheated on me before). Aug 23 8 Happy Friday! Let me tell you how I thoroughly embarrassed myself this week. So yesterday, as I was headed into target, I was hyper-focused and saying to myself, "Okay" stick to the list! Eye brow pencil... shave gel, body wash,.... Hey wait a second! That's my friend, "Heeeey s !!!" | shout out, and like a total lunatic, I stick my thumbs in my ears and wiggle my fingers above my head like freaking bull winkle, and simultaneously stick my tongue out like a "Do I KNOW delinquent toddler. As this woman approached me with the strangest look on her face, I begin to realize she doesn't have the arm tattoos that has. Oh s. That's totally not you?" She asks, while looking at me as if I missed my morning psych meds (for clarity sake, I didn't by the way...) Ummmm, no. no you don't. But I'm not crazy I promise! I totally thought you were my friend ummmm, well, have a great day!!!! Bye!" I awkwardly head into target half embarrassed but also half laughing hysterically as i pondered her likely getting into her car thinking what the actual was wrong with that woman?? Saw a lady being harassed by 2 men I was at a gas station filling up my tank yesterday when I saw 2 men trying to flirt on a lady filling her car up. She was calm and collective at first but got louder as the men kept pursuing her. I decided to walk over to them and I asked her "how was the meeting today hon?" she looked at me and said "it was good, I'll tell you more about it when we get home in a few ". I replied with "wonderful I'll pick up your favorite for dinner". The two guys left in a hurry and she told me "you have no idea how much that meant to me thank you." Yall, i just got kicked out of for expressing freedom of speech because this bartender overheard me say "illegal" and has no idea what i was talking about. He was so full of hate and rage. He said saying "illegal" is a part of bigotry hate. Everyone else at the bar was so mortified that they left with me or they felt so awkard being there. I've never experienced such rage and hate. I feel bad for this bartender. He would not take my apology. I feel so bad for him and people that think what he did is ok. People have clearly lost their minds!! How sweet is this....the students I have, the biggest hearts, this week 100% out of the blue came up to me and said.... "Mrs., you look so pretty today, you are pretty but today you look very pretty." "Mrs. ⚫, I want to apologize, I now understand the frustration you must feel when you're trying to teach us something and the class keeps talking, I was trying to explain to the group how to do the activity but no one would stop talking!" I'm so sorry Mrs." (this also happens to be the same student that put up $ against another teacher super proud saying he wanted to "save" me from getting the pie in the face) "Mrs. you really look cute with your hair up and in the school sweater you look like you 20yrs old" This school and these kids warm my heart every day and I look forward to being there.

r/vegan V 5h WHY DIDN'T I INVITE HER OUT Rant I am sorry, this technically doesn't have much to do with veganism, but JESUS CHRIST DUDE I need to let this out So during my work break today I went to the bakery directly besides it, while I was drinking my coffee and reading my book I overheard a conversation directly behind me It was a girl and her mother talking, I had my headphones on but I overheard the words "AFD ban" and "Vegan" so my interest peaked and I put my headphones down and decided to listen in They were talking about all kinds of stuff, but mainly veganism and how she "really wants a vegan boyfriend, wouldn't it be so romantic if our first date was rescuing animals or something haha" Then I turn around and she is just the cutest girl ever too** so when they stand up to leave I stand up, walk up to her, shake her hand and say "You're the coolest girl I've ever seen" and we laughed and talked and her mother was really cool too and it was an all around nice conversation and she was very clearly into me, even commenting on my shirt and trying to connect with me through it.
