I put Amuro as a virgin since despite his flaws, he is a human being, a young kid that's forcibly thrusted into the battlefield while facing serious war trauma and other things he face as a growing teenager, the presentation and execution clearly shows that Amuro is a flawed human being that can't do anything he want and his journey to the end was to clarify his mistakes and face the reality like a real men, which his characterization on CCA shows how Amuro have grown into a real military men.
Contrast Inaho, who is basically unbelievable in any sense. Despite how the writing team put many interesting characterization on his character, the presentation team decides to remove all of his redeeming qualities and turned him into nothing but mere living plot device in execution. His difficulty to express himself towards his friends do to being emotionless? He really has no difficulty on befriending anyone despite this flaw, in fact most of the friendly cast seems to gravitate towards him (excluding the Villains ofc) which shows how many cheers on him during his return on Season 2. His flawed set of thinking? None of them ever addressed by the plot let alone punished for it! This show makes him can do no wrong, and i can't believe it. The fact that the military seems to need him to be competent against Vers Kataprakts only solidify his status as a slowly evolving Gary Stu. Tatsuya Oniisama be proud.
