In perhaps the least surprising news of the year, Mandalorian co-creator Jon Favreau officially announced season 2 of the wildly popular Star Wars spin-off show. According to Favreau's Twitter, Disney+'s flagship series will return in fall 2020.
Teasing some new creatures, Favreau included a picture of a figure of a Gamorrean. For those who don't know -- presumably because they're doing something worthwhile with their lives -- a Gamorrean is a race of green pig monsters that debuted as Jabba the Hutt's palace guards in Star Wars: Return of the Jedi.

Assuming Disney wants to make money on merchandise this time, The Child, better known as Baby Yoda will return for season two, as well the series titular Mandalorian "Mando." But the only thing that appears confirmed for now is the release date and the Gamorrean, so we'll just have to speculate until fall 2020.
In the meantime, as we all take a break from the adventures of Mando and the Child, please take a moment and enjoy this tribute to Baby Yoda's magical waddle.
