So far, the matchups are generating lots of attention and excitement, particularly with YouTuber MrBeast being one of the first announced participants, much to the joy of the fanbase.

Out of all the currently announced participants, the crowd favorite appears to be iShowSpeed, who has been taking notable strides this year in breaking out of his smaller streamer circle and interacting with other big names. Speed also had previously uploaded videos of him playing football and showing a solid degree of skill at it, prompting a lot on social media to talk about him destroying the competition with his skills and trademark erratic behavior.
This is especially true if MrBeast and Speed are on opposite teams, as clips of someone pretending to be MrBeast donating to Speed's stream to make fun of him began to circulate as a fake beef was formed between the two in recent days.
Ain’t no way I’m gonna see Speed two foot Mr Beast in the Sidemen Charity match 💀💀

How funny would it be if Speed was actually a baller this whole time and has a huge performance at the sidemen charity match

More announcements for participants are on the way as the event date for the charity match draws closer, which Sidemen claims will be "stacked."
