2. One who is strongly partial to his or her own group (e.g. religion, race, ethnicity, gender, political party, etc.) and is intolerant of those who differ.

It seems like the people who staunchly insist on Felix and Jon (idk who the guy in the first image is supposed to be) are racists and bigots despite all evidence to the contrary are the actual bigots here, but I'm not going to attribute this to malice and projection, it's more a thing of the word bigot being watered down to mean "mean poo poo head who said a thing I don't like" just like racist and nazi.
