The thing about saying mudslinging is dividing the country is, you need to divorce that statement from any mudslinging when you say it. Otherwise the statement you make is "When the other guys mudslinging, that's divisive."

So, applying this to the matter at hand, the bombings. The people claiming false flag conspiracy, and the people passively endorsing those, need to stop. Similarly, those who say that one Trump supporter's terrible actions represent the will of Trump and all of his supporters need to stop. Let the investigation happen, put the guilty party or parties in jail, and all agree that this level of hate isn't good for democracy.

A part of the takeaway should be that when you use inflammatory rhetoric, someone deranged may get the idea that terrorism against your opponents is justified. So don't do that. This isn't the first time this has happened like this, and finger-pointing isn't going to be productive.
