If Scratch's eyes are red in the show's canon, that's cool. If they're a different color? I'll get used to it, like I always to when fanon ideas get jossed. I like being able to use my imagination to flesh out side characters beyond what's in the show, but I make a point not to get too attached, because the people who do are the ones who get butthurt whenever the show does something differently from their favorite fanfiction. If you don't marry your fanon then you won't have to go through a divorce.
