BOY MUMS How do you deal with the fact your son will grow and leave you and you will always be second best to his new family and wife? I know its how it should be but it's hard. My boy is 17 and in a good relationship I can already see he is super involved with his girlfriend family. I read it's very common and that we as boy mum just have to accept it and enjoy the time he does spend with us when he is older? It is hard to know how the future will be in that he will be more involved with his new family because they say daughters always more close with there mum and so those in-laws are always the priority not the sons mum. 1.1K comments

Anonymous member Apr 11, 2023 • I know schooling is a struggle for a lot of our kids but I'm really struggling to get my 9 year old to read. We've been unschooling this year as other approaches placed to much demand on him. I have tried every possible way under the sun to teach him to read. I know he wants to be able to read but he also refuses to even remotely try to learn. Any materials or books or apps I try to use he says are for babies. He won't even do the alphabet song bc it's for babies. He's a smart kid and more than capable. Does anyone else deal with this. I feel like my kid is the only kid that can't read at this age and like I'm just failing him. I've taught my 3 other kids to read but he's my most spicy child out of all of them. 5 69 comments

I just witnessed my dog give birth to 9 puppies today. Though I've had my own freebirth (having another in a few months) and have attended many as a birth keeper, there was something absolutely magical and so different about this birth: Here she is, a first time mother, no books to read, no podcasts to listen to, no affirmations, no hypnobirthing course, just a mammal in her prime. She knew exactly what to do, and continues to know exactly what to do as I continue to witness her caring for them. The babies knew exactly what to do. Their eyelids are still fixed shut, yet they found her b t easily and have been nursing with no assistance needed. No lactation consultant required. We are mammals. We instinctively know how to birth and how to mother. What a blessing life on earth is. 9 puppies born with the January Wolf Moon full moon. A blessing to us!

Morning mamas! we got our school picture from daycare today and i noticed all white kids are in the middle and the kids further out are all not white. it's a 12 kid classroom and 5 are white.
