Power Rangers - POWER/RANGERS

First off, I fully understand that this is mostly a satire to the want of a more, dark/gritty/serious version of Power Rangers but this is really too much.

As a fan of both Super Sentai and Power Rangers, it should be noted that they are both, at their core, targeted at children. That said, it is not that an older audience cannot enjoy the series for what it is.

If you are not aware, Saban Brands and Lionsgate have a Power Rangers movie in the works. If they where to create a more "serious" movie in comparison to the TV show, the farthest level it would go would be something similar to "The Avengers" or "The Guardians of the Galaxy". Both feature a team of heroes with a fairly serious tone but are not afraid to be lighten up and be funny every so often.

I could go on with this by talking about Akibaranger, but this comment is long enough as is.
