He looks like he's paralyzed by all the knowledge of the universe he's acquired.

They description says that they did call on the veterinarians they knew to find out what they should do, and were apparently told to wait it out as the dosage was unlikely to be fatal…just unexpected and possibly harrowing for Loki, the dog.

So they kept watch on him for 20 hours until he started to recover, and took some footage to share with people as a reminder to keep things out of reach of those that shouldn't have them, as well as to have a relief-laugh at themselves and Loki once they knew he wasn't going to drop dead on them.

For better or for worse, at least it was a Rice Krispy 'treat' rather than something like a whole tray of dark chocolate brownies, which would've likely been fatal just from the theobromine content (they provide a link to a vet that discusses just that problem, as well as people /deliberately/ getting their pets stoned).

This seems like more of a 'lesson learned' moment than something severely dangerous (though Loki has apparently not been deterred from getting into things he oughtn't, so apparently the experience wasn't too traumatizing) or abhorent.

While I'm generally in favor of cannabis legalization, that doesn't mean people can be irresponsible or abusive with their mind altering substances. Hopefully they'll keep that in mind going forward, as should anyone who keeps cannabis products in their home.
