The Internet - Hacking the Internet

If you are IT and bored at work, you can try this "hacking" to show off:

1. Open Bash terminal, you can get it for Windows with ease
2. Put some normal commands so it appears you've been working on something
3. When someone watches you work, enter cp /dev/random /dev/stdout
4. Screen is now constantly being filled with random characters and you can't enter commands
5. Press random keys for 10 seconds or so
6. If they ask you what happened, tell them that someone is trying to hack you
7. Press Ctrl+C
8. Screen is no longer filled with random characters and you can resume the work
9. You can tell them that you stopped the hacker and situation is under control

Works as long as other people don't know what you did.

You just tell them you rerouted the network mainframe.
