Three passangers died; twenty were seriously injured, some of them with lifelong consequences. Polish driver survived without any major injuries and is currently waiting for a verdict from the court. The engine-driver spotted the vehicle and managed to pull emergency brake, slowing down from 160 km/h to 142 km/h (88.2 mph) this reaction probably saved a lot of lives.
