2016 United States Presidential Election - The Debateful Eight — The Simpsons

Ever seen some of the political cartoons from since the signing of the Constitution onwards? Pretty scathing even back then.

My point is, I don't think there ever really was a time when elections had "basic manners"; we're just now more aware of what politicians say to each other thanks to the higher speed of communication.

And the country would be lead by the most ferocious and agressive one. I'm not sure this is such a good idea.
