For a "final release", this game feels really incomplete. Only two cutscenes (in a game that makes it look like plot is going to be a thing), only one boss battle, only six stages… Okay, that last one is just a nitpick, it doesn't really need more stages, but come on, are we just going to leave the plot hanging at Tails apparently being killed and Sonic chasing Robotnik for revenge?!? (And never actually seeing him again after that first encounter?) Come on!

…All that said, the core gameplay looks really good. The game just needs more content.
