"You don't actually want what you think you want!" – said Blizzard about Classic servers

IIRC a couple years back Blizzard shut down a fan run server that still kept WoW in it's old vanilla state, but now they've got their official vanilla server going.

Blizzard seems to be taking notes from Nintendo (namely referring to how AM2R got a takedown shortly after release only for Nintendo to later reveal "surprise, we were making an official Metroid 2 remake too"). Only difference is Blizzard's theme park is virtual while Nintendo's is actually going to be real, heh (for those unaware: Blizzard revealed a new map for Overwatch recently called "Blizzard World" which is a theme park based on Blizzard's IPs).
