The Truth About Game Freak (Pokemon Sword and Shield Controversy)

Notes

This is the last thing I'm going to contribute to this controversy, because I'm honestly done dealing with people blinded by nostalgia. So before I go, here are my final thoughts:
Being excited to buy SwSh without the national dex does not make you a “sheep” or “mindless” or an “apologist”. It’s about loving pokemon so much that the game will still bring you joy, even with all it’s flaws.
-Buying SwSh and wanting Game Freak to improve in the future is not mutually exclusive.
-I was never trying to be a smug a
----- justifying Gamefreak's decisions. I was just trying to show examples of how BBND has grown so toxic, they'll gloss over legitimate reasonings for the sake of being angry.
-I'm not happy with the lack of the national dex either, but I don't label the company or the fans supporting them, because in the end, we don't know everything.
-You can still clamor for the national dex to return; just don't try ruining someone else's hype because it doesn't meet your standards.

Description

So a good amount of time has passed since E3, where Junichi Masuda and Shigeru Ohmori announced that the National Dex would not be making a return to Sword and Shield. Now technically Sun and Moon and the Ultra games also didn't have the National Dex, however you could still bring all of your old mons over to Alola.
