Zibin had originally been told the event caused $12,000 worth of damage to tables and chairs, though the school's director of communications, Kevin Cavanagh, said Friday the damage was actually closer to $5,000.

“Regrettably, there was property damage and we're not thrilled about it, but we realize it wasn't intentional. It wasn't malicious,” he said. “The most important thing was nobody was injured.”

However, Cavanagh said the school will be looking for Zibin and anyone else who helped organize the event on to pay for the damage."
