Meet Siesta the Sloth at Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium. Siesta arrived at the the Zoo in 2000 when she was four-months-old. Sloths spend nearly their entire lives upside down: sleeping, eating, mating and giving birth in that position. In fact, they are unable to stand upright or walk along the ground.
