Over 40 years ago, Jack Chick took a different approach to marketing evangelical Christianity by creating inspirational mini-comic books called ‘Chick Tracts’. These propaganda tools took off like wildfire and still seem to have a strong draw. Like many other aspects of Christianity, these little books fell prey to parody, humor, and satire. While the original Chick Tracts got their start in meatspace, the parodies were spread via the Internet. This has taken place in a similar way that the Motivationals meme has spread. It is not quite as popular, as this kind of transformation requires more artistic skill. The parody pictured here, is one of the more popular parodies and may be considered a cross-over of the Zalgo (Cthulu) meme.
