One day, a troll (most likely from 4chan) posted this message on Oprah’s message board: "We do not forgive, we do not forget, our group has OVER 9000 penises, and they’re all raping children". This statement was, of course, entirely fabricated and a gross exaggeration, which would be obvious to an experienced Internet user… though apparently, the playfulness of the message was completely lost on those unfamiliar with Internet culture, including Oprah herself. Oprah took the message very seriously; she took the bait, and it got on the show. Here is the original clip:
