This pokes fun at the lyric 'I am a table' sang by James Hetfield from 'The View' – a song on Lulu – Metallica's collaboration with Lou Reed. It poses the argument of who actually is the table. It also paraphrases 'I am Spartacus' from the 1960 film. It is almost to say that, if everyone claims to be the table, the lyric won't sound as stupid.
