can i ask what's so bad about believing that "real" transgender people need to experience dysphoria in some way, shape, or form? -not trying to start anything bad here, genuine question- dysphoria can be anything from not identifying with your birth sex/gender and socially/mentally transitioning to physically feeling as if you are in the wrong body and need to medically transition, so i don't understand the whole "truscum" argument from both points, if you can get what i'm trying to say Because it erases and invalidates the trans people don't feel dysphoric. There are trans people who don't feel uncomfortable with their assigned gender, but feel that another gender - the gender they ID with, the gender that they are - is a better fit. There are trans people who don't feel uncomfortable with their body the way that it is, and thus choose not to change it.
