Origin
On August 2nd, 2018, TikTok bought Music.ly for 1 Billion Dollars, they then merged the two apps together creating a larger TikTok Community. Furries (A group of people who dress up in Fur-Suits and pretend to be animals) saw this as a opportunity to express themselves, while Gamers, began to make it a meme and began to Duet posts that they found funny.

Spread
In the Late Days of October 2018, the presence of Gamers and Furries on the app began to grow exponentially. On November 1st, Gamers began to Duet posts made by Furries to make memes out of. Furries did not like this and began to act harsh to the Gamers. On November 6th, the gamers began to make posts declaring war on the Furries and began to "raid" posts made by Furries.

The Gamers declared that on November 10th, 2018 (National Hunting And Fishing Day), they were to begin a world-wide counter offensive against the furries. On November 8th, the number of "raids" on furry posts began to grow. On November 5th, 2018, A youtuber known as Stream Moments[2] began to take these "raids" and put them into highlight montages, the first of which being called Funny Tik Tok Ironic Memes Compilation V1 WAR AGAINST FURRIES! GAMERS #NONUT[3].

November 10th, 2018
On the day of the world wide counter offensive, the amount of "raids" sky rocketed and many people from around the world participated in the event. The amount of Duets sent by Gamers out numbered ones made by furries because there were greater numbers of them. Because the amount of Duets made by Furries was so much less, The counter offensive by the Gamers was a success.
