Jeff was intended to look like Skipper from the Madagascar series and was drawn by YTP'er and shitposter Clorox Corner when he was live streaming on his YouTube Channel.

The image was created via the use of The Jack Box Party Pack game series and one of its game modes known as T.KO. A game mode where players draw T-shirt images and add slogans. YTP'er CRJ1 then captioned it "Jeff" and soon after it began to spread via Discord, 4chan and Reddit amongst fellow poopers in the YTP Community. Jeff is known for his disdain for anti- vax parents and uses Twitter as his method of communication. He also has a twin brother named Emmett and they are known to have their fights and epic battles!

Eventually YouTube Videos containing the image and the song Ganstas Paradise by Coolio popped up online and began circulating across the web. in late March of 2019.The meme now is used as an emote and has been used as a random out of context image.
