Folks, this is what my in laws sent for the holidays. My husband and I are both shocked year after year. This year is particularly, BAD. Now my husband is an MD and I'm a teacher both based in NYC area. In laws are retired dentist and pharmacist in Miami. We sent two nice Sherpa jackets for dad and for mom one leather pouch from portland Leather and a facial care set from a German organic brand - all well wrapped with notes. We both are really tired of getting somehow BASIC gifts almost no thoughts put into it. I wanna stop the gift exchange, but my husband just responds "Thank you." How do you guys think about this? Hi! I'm looking for a mommy-helper for after school until I'm done with my work day (4:30pm) for two little boys 3.5 and 1.5 yrs old. They are well behaved little boys and love to play. Someone who is wanting to get into babysitting but has little/to no experience and would need some gentle guiding. I would be present in the home and accessible if needed. Looking for someone who is responsible and kind and looking just to play with kids. Jr high is not too young to start out trying to babysit. This would be an unpaid position and needed however often someone is willing Monday- Friday. They will start next week.

I'll be taking a steep cut to my working hours (and income) in order to better manage my symptoms and begin transitioning to a career field that offers more autonomy & accessibility/accommodation. Anyone have any recommendations for affordable in home or family provider daycare something for $150 to $175 a week or less ? I am only 5 weeks pregnant with my first baby but after seeing the cost of day care I am freaking out ! I need all the help me and my fiancé can get !
